The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru (SENAMHI) generates and provides meteorological, hydrological and climatic information and knowledge in a reliable, timely and accessible way for the benefit of Peruvian society. In order to disseminate reliable and quality information, SENAMHI operates, controls, organizes and maintains a national network of more than 900 meteorological and hydrological stations in accordance with the technical standards of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
