Health Care Without Harm is forging a path for the health sector to close in on zero emissions by 2050 through a series of climate solutions that can protect public health from climate change while accelerating the transition to a low emission, resilient economy. These solutions must also address the need to increase social equity and access to health care.
The Health Care Without Harm Global Network is composed of regional offices in Europe, South East Asia, United States & Canada; a Latin America regional team and a global secretariat. Strategic partner organizations represent us in Australia (Climate and Health Alliance), Brazil (Projecto Hospitais Saudáveis), China (Rock Environment and Energy Institute) India (Public Health Foundation of India, Centre For Chronic Disease Control, Lung Care Foundation, Healthy Energy Initiative India), Nepal (The Health Environment and Climate Action Foundation) and South Africa (groundWork)
Health Care Without Harm and its partners also lead Global Green and Healthy Hospitals, a worldwide network of hospitals and health systems with more than 1,500 members in 75 countries, representing the interests of over 60,000 hospitals and health centers.
We also work in partnership with international organizations, including the World Health Organization, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Global Climate and Health Alliance, and World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA).
