The Garnaut Climate Change ReviewÑled by Professor Ross GarnautÑwas first commissioned by australia's Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments in 2007, to conduct an independent study of the impacts of climate change on the australian economy. The Review's Final Report was released on 30 September 2008. The Report recommended medium to long-term policies and policy frameworks to improve the prospects for sustainable prosperity. Includes a wide-range of issues papers, commissioned reports, public lectures, Draft and Final Reports released as part of the 2008 Review. In November 2010, Ross Garnaut was commissioned by the australian Government to provide an independent update to his 2008 Climate Change Review. Professor Garnaut's book, The Garnaut Review 2011: australia in the global Response to Climate Change, is the final report of the update.
