Advance global public health action on extreme heat by providing technical and policy leadership. Support WMO and WHO, through the Global Heat Health Information Network and partners, in implementing heat related science, interventions, and engaging with media and stakeholders.
Candidate profile: Senior public health professional with expertise in heat-health risk, epidemiology, and climate-adaptive policy and planning.

Support the expansion of operational impact-based heat early warning systems. Provide technical assistance to NMHS, co-develop tailored services, and contribute to international guidance and capacity-building efforts.

Support the implementation of climate-informed health services. Assist in project coordination, expert teams, stakeholder engagement, and operations of the WHO-WMO Joint Office for Climate and Health.
