Dengue outbreaks in Bangalore spike during the monsoon, worsened by climate change, creating ideal mosquito breeding conditions. Karnataka saw record dengue cases in 2023, leading ARTPARK to develop a data-driven platform that integrates weather forecasts and surveillance to predict outbreaks. This system, used by over 1,000 frontline workers, helps anticipate and manage dengue, identifying breeding sites and allowing city officials to respond more effectively. It is now proposed for integration into broader health monitoring systems across India.
