Digital Square is a global initiative that fosters digital health innovation by aligning stakeholder and funder priorities, supporting scalable digital health tools known as "global goods," and mobilizing over $140 million across 33 countries. One notable tool, SORMAS, was developed in response to Nigeria’s 2014-2015 Ebola outbreak to improve surveillance and outbreak management. Expanded for COVID-19 and other health threats, SORMAS now includes a One Health module for environmental surveillance to tackle climate-related infectious diseases. This integration enhances early warning, control, and response capabilities globally.
