The National Meteorological Service (Servicio Meteorológico Nacional - SMN) of Argentina provides information and meteorological forecasts, climate prospects and alerts based on continuous monitoring of the atmosphere and scientific knowledge. The mission of SMN is to protect the population, contribute to national defense, promote sustainable development and fulfill its international commitments in this area.
