The Met Office is the UK’s national weather service. It provides weather and climate-related services to the Armed Forces, government departments, the public, civil aviation, shipping, industry, agriculture and commerce. Drawing on world-leading research, scientists and health professionals at the Met Office are playing a key role on the national and international stages, developing an understanding of the links between climate change and the health of people around the world.

The Medical & Environmental Data Mash-up Infrastructure project (MEDMI) is aiming to connect diverse databases to improve our understanding of the links between climate, environment, and human health. MEDMI has developed several free tools and applications to link and analyse environment and health databases.
