Climate change is one of the most important challenges of our time, exerting a profound and multifaceted impact on both the environment and human health. With the launch of this photography contest, we want to highlight awareness of the wide range of health impacts that climate change imposes, encouraging individuals of all ages and photographic abilities to document these impacts through their lenses. This competition is designed to encourage active participation, promote in-depth reflection, and facilitate constructive dialogue, to portray the range of adverse effects that climate change can have on human well-being. The purpose of this initiative is to increase public awareness regarding how climate change is currently impacting health in Peru and highlight the vital importance of research in developing effective interventions that address this challenge.
