Health Care Without Harm, 2019

This paper takes a comprehensive look at health care’s climate emissions to build an understanding of the roots of the problem to tackle it not only without compromising the quality of care, but by potentially improving it. The paper identifies a path forward that can empower health systems, ministries, multilateral and bilateral health lenders and donors, together with suppliers and manufacturers of health goods and services, to begin to take cost-effective, urgent action to move toward net zero emissions in order to protect public health from climate disruption.
